Expanding Our Program
Last year our Region added the Scholastic Writing Awards, becoming the only Region in Indiana and one of only 15 nationally to offer the Writing Awards. This year we have expanded both the Art and Writing programs to give a greater audience the opportunity to participate in this amazing program. We will be increasing the number of awards to reflect this increased territory to 200 Gold Keys, 150 Silver Keys, and 100 Certificates of Merit.

Longer Exhibition
The Fort Wayne Museum of Art is excited to announce the Scholastics Art and Writing Awards Exhibition will be on view from February 9 to April 13, 2008. Call 260-422-6467 ext. 319 or email elliott@fwmoa.org to schedule a tour.

Early drop-off dates
Teachers have more days when they can enter their student’s work. Teachers can choose to drop work off on Thursday, January 17, and Friday, January 18, 2008 from 9am to 6pm. Saturday, January 19, 2008 from 9am to12 pm which is the judging day so entries must be in by 12pm.

Mailing Writing Entries
Writing teachers can mail in all entries to the Fort Wayne Museum of Art as long as payment is included and the entries are recieved by January 18, 2008. If you have questions about filling out the paperwork please email education@fwmoa.org with the subject line reading SCHOLASTIC WRITING or call Max at 260-422-6467 ext 321.

Regional Pick-up Service
The pick-up service was such a success last year that the Fort Wayne Museum of Art will continue to offer it. The dates for the pick-up service are listed on the map by county.
