Introduction:
In a time of shrinking educational budgets, Gallery on Wheels provides a wonderful way for students to interact with and learn from art. Students will discuss standards based topics and have a chance to visualize concepts they are already learning in the classroom. A representative from the museum will come to your school and present the collection to the students. 

Close to 13500 students participated in Gallery On Wheels last year, as they explored art through a variety of different exhibits so … sign up soon! Because of its overwhelming popularity the Fort Wayne Museum of Art has added many new collections, each with a different focus.

How much does it cost?
Thanks to sponsors it is FREE!!!! However, we do ask you to coordinate with other teachers so that our visit is as productive as possible.

  
         
 
 
 
     
    Aristic Detective
Subject: Art and Language Arts
This exhibit is designed to teach students to look for visual elements to help develop
a story. After looking at several images, students will create their own story
as a group, by selecting the who what when where and why. At the end the story
that the class created will be read by the instructor.
