2008 Mock Caldecott Elections

Fall in love and defend your choice to the end. This free event is designed to expose educators, parents and children's book lovers to this year's healthy crop of beautiful children's books.

The Allen County Public Library and the Fort Wayne Museum of Art invite you to come choose Allen County's favorite children's book illustrator of 2007. An expert panel will guide us through the selection process as the public is encouraged to join the debate and vote for their favorite children's book.

The event will include a free tour of the Allen Say exhibit by Curator of Children and Family Programs, Max Meyer and lite refreshment will be provided (including a lot of coffee).

The NEA (National Education Association) has used our collaboration as a model example of great programming. Come see what they are raving about.
