July 6, 2008 • Chalk Walk Mural and Demonstration
At 2 pm Max Meyer, Curator of Children and Family Programs, will offer a helpful demonstration and tips to prepare for this year’s Chalk Walk. The day will also include (weather permitting) outdoor chalk drawing and an indoor chalk mural. Visitors will enjoy lively music, lemonade and other light refreshments in a relaxed atmosphere.
August 3, 2008 • Masterpiece
FWMoA Artist Members have carefully created their defining piece for the current exhibition. Using paint, pencils, crayons and more, visitors will create their own masterpieces! The day will feature artist demonstrations, music, refreshments and fun.
September 7, 2008 • Be a Tourist In Your Own Home Town
Enjoy a “staycation” day in Fort Wayne with this special event! The Fort Wayne Museum of Art is always a popular stop during the Be a Tourist event, so beat the rush and come early. The Fort Wayne Artist Guild will be on hand for their annual Kids Create program providing hands-on activities, artist demonstrations, and fun for the whole family. Music, light refreshments, and of course a fantastic array of art galleries will add to your afternoon enjoyment.
