Fall in love and defend your choice to the end. This free event is designed to expose educators, parents and children's book lovers to this year's healthy crop of beautiful children's books.

The Allen County Public Library and the Fort Wayne Museum of Art invite you to come choose Allen County's favorite children's book illustrator of 2007. An expert panel will guide us through the selection process as the public is encouraged to join the debate and vote for their favorite children's book.

Reading Rainbow Young Writers & Illustrators Contest

April 12 – June 22, 2008

The popular children’s program Reading Rainbow on PBS held it’s 14th Annual Reading Rainbow Young Writers & Illustrators Contest from February 1 through March 14. Children from Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd and 3rd grades wrote original stories, complete with their own illustrations. The winning books from this region will be on display at the FWMoA.
