Introduction:
In a time of shrinking educational budgets, Gallery on Wheels provides a wonderful way for students to interact with and learn from art. Students will discuss standards based topics and have a chance to visualize concepts they are already learning in the classroom. A representative from the Museum will come to your school and present the collection to the students.
Over 13,500 students participated in Gallery On Wheels last year, and explored art through a variety of different exhibits so … sign up soon! Because of its overwhelming popularity of Gallery On Wheels, the Fort Wayne Museum of Art has added several new collections, each with a different focus.
How much does it cost?
Thanks to sponsors it is FREE!!!! However, we do ask you to coordinate with other teachers so that our visit is as productive as possible.
