Guided tours are available Tuesday through Friday from 9:30 am-4pm. Tours are designed for a variety of grade levels and available to community and youth groups.
Please schedule all tours at least 2-4 weeks in advance. Contact the Education Department by email to elliott@fwmoa.org or by phone at 260-422-6467 ext 319 between the hours of 8:30 am and 5:00 pm.
All tours are scripted and apply Indiana Academic Standards. To get copy of the tour guide please contact Max Meyer by email meyer@fwmoa.org.

In addition to our dedicated core of volunteer Docents here at the museum, we will be welcoming IPFW Art Education students into the mix. These students not only benefit from a unique learning experience they will use in the future but bring vitality to the tour program.

Tour Costs
Guided Tours are free for all public and private schools within Fort Wayne and East Allen Community School Districts. For all other schools interested in our educational tours please check the cost listed below.
Individual fees (groups less than 20)
$5 per adult
$3 per student
Group fees: (groups of 20 or larger)
Note:Teacher and parents are free for K12 or College groups.
$4 per adult
$2 per student
Wednesdays are always free so check for availability! A Free Tour is also availble the First Sunday! of every month at 3pm. |

A lot of schools have cut back on their field trips due to increases in transportation cost. The Yellow Bus Fund allows the Fort Wayne Museum of Art to reimburse schools for their transportation cost. It is a great tool to help you, as a teacher, persuade administration to aprove a field trip to the Museum. If The Yellow Bus Fund is a program that your school would benefit from, please contact Joslyn Elliott at 260-422-6467 ext. 319 or elliott@fwmoa.org to schedule a tour and use of the fund.
