Call for Critiques

Get out of the studio to convene with creative colleagues! Present your new (or not so new) work in media-specific critiques led by local experts. This session is designed to provide challenging and insightful observations about your artwork, and offer exciting opportunities for artists to interact and network. Join the camaraderie and contribute to the expanding vision of art in NE Indiana!

Details: Open critiques are based on constructive feedback and each artist will be allowed time for a meaningful critique. The environment will be open, informal and friendly-please form your comments accordingly! We will approach the work formally and examine how formal issues are working toward the realization of the artist’s vision/intentions.

In order to adequately and meaningfully provide critiques, it is important to examine the actual piece. Each artist is limited to 3 artworks maximum. Specific size/weight restrictions will be provided to artists who make a reservation. Break-out groups will be organized by media.

Eligibility: Any local/regional artist 18 years or older

Cost: Free
