DepARTures San Francisco Trip
Twenty-three art-loving adventurers embarked on a trip in May that was truly a San Francisco treat! The group enjoyed the fine art collections of the de Young and the Legion of Honor Museums as well as cutting-edge art at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. The trip left plenty of time for seeing such San Francisco icons as the fog shrouded Golden Gate Bridge, the sea lions at Fisherman’s Wharf, and soaking up the culture (and bargains!) of Chinatown. A day trip to the Napa Valley and wine tastings and fabulous private art collections at Gloria Ferrer, Hess Collection and Hall Rutherford wineries certainly was a highlight of the trip.
