For over 60 years the Fort Wayne Museum of Art has been proud to showcase the works of artists from across the country in this annual gallery sale. Artist original work in a wide variety of media will be for sale for this one weekend only. Mark the date on your calendar and check the website for updates regarding this not to be missed sale!

American Modernist Jewelry, 1940-1970

This exhibition is composed of artists who broke away from the mainstream of jewelry design and looked to the fine arts for inspiration. Included are jewelry and sculpture from such key artists are Margaret de Patta, Sam Kramer, Art Smith, Alexander Calder, and Claire Falkenstein among others.

The Art Students League is one of the oldest independent art schools in this country. Considered a significant force in the ascendancy of American art and artists during the last century, the Art Students League has employed and educated generations of artists — many of whom achieved international status. The exhibition will include works by such artists as William Merritt Chase, Georgia O’Keeffe, Hughie Lee-Smith, Reginald Marsh and Will Barnet, among others.

FWMoA Artist Members' Exhibition

The Fort Wayne Museum of Art's first annual Artist Members' exhibition is an
eclectic mix of media from FWMoA's own members. It highlights single works
submitted by members for display in the Museum's Main Gallery in conjunction
with Artlink's own member show. The exhibition is a wonderful opportunity to
celebrate the talents of our members.

David and Peter Turnley: McClellan Street
November 15, 2008 – January 11, 2009
Fort Wayne natives David and Peter Turnley are internationally renowned photojournalists whose work has been featured on the covers and in the pages of the most esteemed news magazines and newspapers. They have created some of the most memorable images of the 20th and 21st centuries and have received numerous honors including a Pulitzer Prize for photography awarded to David Turnley in 1990. Their work has been subject of photography catalogues and exhibitions.
