ual Arts Career Day

Art majors are often asked, "What will you do with your degree?" This day-long program exploring art as a career path is a step closer to answering that question, as well as a chance to see the visual arts as an expansivefield of opportunity, not a limiting career choice. Attendees will interact with art professionals from the local and regional markets and discover how these one-time art students have built their careers on their creative passions. Other opportunities include one-on-one resume reviews and mock interviews, grant writing how-tos, alternative career options, and a closer look at the prospect of graduate school.
This event is aimed at undergraduate college and university students, but high school juniors and seniors are encouraged to attend as well. Breakfast and lunch are included. Register with Amanda Martin by November 5 by calling 422.6467 ext. 322, or by emailing martin@fwmoa.org.
