Designed to meet the
expanding needs and interests of the community, the Fort Wayne
Museum of Art opened in its current location in 1984. Splendidly
designed by Chicago architect Walter Netsch, in conjunction
with Fort Wayne architects MSKTD, the building encompasses
40,000 square feet and boasts three wings - exhibition/collection,
education/administration and an auditorium. A central enclosed
atrium links the three sections and the entire facility is
handicapped accessible.
