Organized by Habatat Galleries, this exhibition is the oldest and largest annual contemporary glass show in the country. Selected from an array of glass masters, this exhibition features 26 of the best studio glass artists in the world. In its 42nd year, the invitational presents contemporary glass sculpture in the greater context of international influence with unconventional forms and processes. June 26, 6-9pm: The EpiCuratorial ExperienceIn celebration of the Summer of Glass II, we are hosting the second EpiCuratorial Experience, an epicurean event that explores the curatorial journey of the Museum to bring the best and most unique international studio glass to Fort Wayne.This year's EpiCuratorial cuisine is designed and prepared by Empyrean.
The evening is specially curated with elements such as signature cocktails, fine cuisine, unique decor, and an exclusive opportunity to meet international sculptor Peter Bremers, whose work is featured in a solo exhibition for the Summer of Glass. Courses are paired with fine wines, and the evening ends with a private tour by Executive Director Charles Shepard and exhibiting artist Peter Bremers, before anyone else in the city has an opportunity to see it.
